1. Our Commitment to Copyright

GOATY respects the intellectual property rights of creators and rights holders. This Policy explains how copyright owners can report allegedly infringing content and how affected users can request restoration when they believe content was removed by mistake.

GOATY is operated from the Republic of Korea. We handle copyright complaints in accordance with the Copyright Act of the Republic of Korea, including the online service provider provisions under Articles 102 and 103, and related enforcement rules.

2. User-Generated Content on GOATY

GOATY is a user-generated content platform where users create and share tier lists, bracket games, polls, and related media. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that the content they upload or publish does not violate copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other third-party rights.

GOATY does not pre-approve all user content before publication. If you are a rights holder and believe content on GOATY infringes your copyright, please submit a request using the process below.

3. How to Submit a Takedown Request

To help us review your request quickly, please email us the following information:

1. Your name, organization name if applicable, and contact email.
2. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
3. The exact GOATY URL(s) where the allegedly infringing content appears.
4. Materials reasonably showing that you are the rights holder or are authorized to act for the rights holder.
5. A statement that the information you provide is accurate and that you have a good-faith belief that the reported use is not authorized by the rights holder or by law.

4. What Happens After We Receive a Request

After receiving a sufficiently detailed request, GOATY will review the report and may remove or disable access to the reported content. When appropriate, we will notify the user who uploaded the content and provide information about how to request restoration.

GOATY may reject requests that are incomplete, abusive, unrelated to copyright, or unsupported by reasonable evidence of rights ownership or authorization.

5. How to Request Restoration

If your content was removed and you believe you have the right to use it, or that the removal was based on mistake or misidentification, you may submit a restoration request.

1. Your name and contact email.
2. The URL or description of the removed content.
3. A short explanation of why you believe the content was lawful or removed by mistake.
4. Materials reasonably supporting your right to use the content.
5. Your physical or electronic signature.

GOATY may forward your restoration request to the original complainant where appropriate. We may restore the content if the request appears valid and we do not receive information showing that continued removal is required.

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

GOATY may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly upload infringing content or repeatedly violate third-party intellectual property rights. We may also remove content or restrict access when required by law, by our infrastructure providers, or by our Terms of Service.
